10 May 2010. The ranking, which was published today, takes into account open-enrolment and customised programmes in the field of executive education. 1st place worldwide was won by Harvard University, while HEC Paris is the European number one.
The Financial Times has been publishing rankings regularly ever since 1999. The present executive education ranking is one of the international business paper’s four rankings, which are spread over the year (MBA, Executive MBA, Executive Education and Master's in Management). At the end of each year, the results are consolidated in the European business school rankings.
These rankings aim to compare and rate the best programmes and business schools which produce the global managers of the 21st century. The Financial Times rankings are highly selective; only leading internationally oriented business schools are taken into consideration.
Besides an executive education institution in Berlin, the University of St.Gallen is the only university in the German-speaking area that managed to be included in this significant international performance comparison in the field of executive education for managers.
