GUESSS The GUESSS (Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey) project investigates students' entrepreneurial career choice intentions at the global level. GUESSS was initiated in 2003 and is managed today by the CFB-HSG/KMU-HSG together with the University of Bern. The main research focus is on career choice intentions of students, and their entrepreneurial intentions in particular. We investigate various influencing factors, such as university context, family context, as well as motives and attitudes. Moreover, we are especially interested in students with family business background having the opportunity to take over their parents' business. By 2016 the seventh wave of data collection took place. In total, 50 countries and over 1'000 universities took part. The final dataset contains complete responses from more than 122'000 students. The next implementation of GUESSS will start in autumn 2018. International project reports, country reports, further studies and GUESSS-based scientific articles can be found on the GUESSS website www.guesssurvey.org.
