27 July 2010. At the HSG, research will be done on gender constructions in crèches, on the influence of pension reforms on married couples and on the role of extra-family childcare.

SNF promotion instruments are significant
The National Fund has evaluated 119 project outlines and finally approved 21 projects in the National Research Programme on Gender Equality. The new research projects will be launched in the coming weeks. The three new NFP projects at the HSG underline the constantly growing significance of the SNF’s promotion instruments in research at the HSG.

The HSG, an attractive place for research
Several initiatives of the Vice-Presidency for Research and the Research Committee are contributing towards establishing an “SNF culture” at the HSG. Prof. Dr. Bernhard Ehrenzeller, Vice-President for Research at the University of St.Gallen, emphasises the significance of the SNF projects: “The projects covered by the National Research Programme demonstrate that the HSG deals with topical and relevant research issues at a high academic standard and that it is an attractive place for research.”
