22 October 2012. From 27 November to 2 December 2012, the CEMS Annual Events will take place in St.Gallen. Up to 200 guests from all over the world are expected to participate in this event. But what is the CEMS Master in International Management all about? Sandra von Bidder and Marc-Andrea Brunner, who have completed the programme, give an account of their integration in foreign countries and of cultural ruptures.

Promotion of young academics

A young academic’s road towards his or her appointment as a professor is rocky. Reto Hofstetter has toughed it out and been appointed Professor of Marketing at the Università della Svizzera italiana.

Former President Peter Gomez and systems thinker Markus Schwaninger were appointed somewhat earlier. At the end of the current semester, the two professors will retire.
