The HSG in the region

Every year, the HSG visits the region with a public lecture series. In spring 2011, a series on “Responsibility in corporate management” will take place at the Frauenfeld Cantonal School.

22 February 2011. At the request of the Frauenfeld Cantonal School, the issue of sustainable management will be debated with pupils and anyone else who is interested in the matter. On four evenings, HSG professors will give in-depth keynote lectures about this topic, which has been ubiquitous ever since the banking crisis, from varying perspectives (business administration and economics, criminal law and business ethics. The (tainted) image of managers in the public domain will also be dealt with.

Ethical management foundations
Present-day research into the possibilities and limits of government regulation, into an extension of the punishability of decision-makers and into ethical management foundations will be given pride of place. The first lecture will be on Tuesday, 1 March. All the lectures will start at 6.15 p.m. and take place in the Aula of the Frauenfeld Cantonal School.
