12 March 2012. On the basis of the latest research results, the HSG faculty members will expound on how the decreasing impact of marketing can be fought. The question will be answered from various marketing perspectives. In order to prepare the classes of the Economy & Law Department of Sargans Cantonal School for the lecture series, teachers will cover marketing topics in the run-up to them. The public lectures entitled “Marketing” will take place on Tuesdays from 6.15 p.m. in the Aula of Sargans Cantonal School.

Strengthening a brand

In the lectures, the audience will be provided with extensive knowledge of purchaser behaviour and customer retention, as well as knowledge of brand management, cultivation and control. The relevant processes will not only be viewed in a customer- and market-oriented way; the success factor of emotionalisation will also be taken into consideration. Finally, the faculty members will also shed light on interactive marketing through the internet and through Web 2.0. One professor will deliver a lecture on SME marketing strategies especially for entrepreneurs.
