7 May 2013. The 16 contributions to the dossier are about successful start-ups and about how I definitely won’t make a good job of a start-up. They are about tips for founders and SMEs, about innovation and leadership in established companies, about personalities ranging from an English start-up genius and lord of a corporate empire to a Winterthur coffee roaster who is not interested in her one-women business growing. Extensive HSG expertise and experience regarding this topic comes both from academia and from entrepreneurial practice at home and abroad.

The campus part of the new issue of HSG Focus includes Vice-President Ulrike Landfester’s debut as a columnist as well as an appreciation of Professors Gebhard Kirchgässner and Martin Hilb, two long-standing academics of outstanding merit, who will shortly be retiring.

The second issue of HSG Focus consists of about 40 contributions – texts, videos, audios and picture galleries. The University magazine appears as an app, is optimised for tablet computers and is also available in a smartphone version. Download through the App Store (ab iOS 6.0) and through Google Play (from Android 4.0). Landing Page: www.hsgfocus.ch.
