3 February 2010. School leavers from Switzerland and from neighboring countries, as well as any other interested parties, will be able to get an impression of whether studying law at the HSG is the right thing for them. Participants will be informed about the law courses at the University, can discuss things with students and will thus obtain an insight into everyday life at the Uni.

Fictitious "Facebook" case
The core of the Law Department’s Information Day will be the fictitious “Facebook” case, which participants will work on with student tutors and Prof. Dr. Vito Roberto. The fictitious law case will deal with the interfaces between the private sphere, professional life and law in the context of the Internet platform, Facebook.

Prospective students will form small groups with a tutor each to discuss the facts of the case and to work out the relevant legal issues, after which they will suggest solutions with the help of legal texts. Subsequently, Prof. Dr. Vito Roberto will present them with a specimen solution to the fictitious case.
