Debate about the future world of work
The HSG Talents Conference will be launched on 25 February 2014 with a public panel discussion on “Generation Y – vitamin or valium for the economy?” This debate will be about what the future world of work will look like. Will Generation Y invigorate or paralyse the economy with its demand for self-realisation and work/life balance? How will companies react to the new generation’s demanding attitude, and what style of leadership will be adequate? And how will companies compose their workforces in an optimal manner?

The panel discussion will start in the Audimax, Room 09-010, at the University of St.Gallen, on Tuesday, 25 February 2014, at 6.15 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by Dirk Schütz, editor of Bilanz.

The panel will be made up of:

• Heike Bruch, Director of the HSG Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management

• Carolina Müller-Möhl, investor, philanthropist, President of the Müller-Möhl Group

• Romeo Lacher, Head of Private Banking Western Europe, Credit Suisse
