It is also in the top group as a result of the internationality of its faculty members and doctoral students, and also because of the HSG students’ satisfaction with their degree courses.

The 71 universities that constitute the Excellence Group in Economics comprise three universities from Switzerland (Berne, Zurich and St.Gallen), seven from Germany (HU Berlin, Bielefeld, Freiburg, Lüneburg, Mannheim, LMU Munich and Wuppertal) and one from Austria (Vienna University).
