Graduation Executive M.B.L.-HSG

The students of the postgraduate course Executive Master of European and International Business Law (M.B.L.-HSG) of the University of St.Gallen will receive their degree certificates on Saturday, 28 November 2009.

25 November 2009. On Saturday, 28 November 2009 at 5 p.m. the students of the thirteenth year of the postgraduate course of the University of St.Gallen for the degree of an Executive Master of European and International Business Law (M.B.L.-HSG) will receive their degree certificates in St.Gallen’s Pfalzkeller. The event is open to the general public.

Ceremonial address by Günther Oettinger
The ceremonial address on topical international developments in business law, particularly in relations between Germany and Switzerland, will be given by the present Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg and German candidate for the office of EU Commissioner, Günther H. Oettinger.

The issues he will deal with are related to the subject matter of the curriculum: in the course of 18 months, the graduates have completed nine modules of European and international business law in such fields as community law, competition law, tax law, intellectual property law, finance law and energy law.

Welcome by Stefan Kölliker
The guests will be welcomed by Stefan Kölliker, the Chairman of the University’s Board of Governors and Education Minister of the Canton of St.Gallen.

The degree course was launched in 1995 by Prof. Dr. Carl Baudenbacher, Director of the Executive M.B.L-HSG and President of the EFTA Court.
