17 March 2011. The Language Center of the University of St.Gallen has for some time been equipped with a modern, multifunctional test room, in which internet-based language and aptitude tests and training sessions can be conducted.

The test room has now also been accredited to conduct the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). This is an internationally recognised screening test which attests the ability required for post-graduate studies in economic sciences.

The GMAT is also of significance for admission to studies at the University of St.Gallen. In particular, it is necessary for admission to executive education programmes such as the MBA and the EMBA, as well as to consecutive Master’s programmes like SIM and MBF.

The GMAT examines logical and analytical skills and is administered in an internet-based version, as is the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Students who are interested can register for the GMAT through the website www.mba.com.
