Executive Campus newly renovated

The Executive Campus "Holzweid" (WBZ) at Holzstrasse 15 in Rotmonten provides the setting and space for continuing education courses, seminars and congresses at the University of St.Gallen. After 25 years of use, the WBZ main building was renovated this summer and will open its doors again next Monday, 10 August 2020.

3 August 2020. Renovation work on the building has been underway since 11 May and will be completed by the end of this week. The main building of the WBZ was literally "turned upside down" during this time. The project included the complete roof renovation as well as the renewal of the interiors with a timeless design - tailored to the work requirements of today and tomorrow.

Venue for events

The infrastructure, combined with a broad range of services, is primarily used by the Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES-HSG) and the HSG institutes' executive education programmes. However, the Executive Campus is also open to external organisations and companies as a venue. From group and meeting rooms to seminar rooms and a plenary hall with 447 square metres - the Executive Campus provides the setting for many event options.

25-year history

The main building with its striking shape has been a characteristic feature of the Rotmonten quarter for 25 years now. The construction of the WBZ could be financed thanks to donations from companies and institutions; the WBZ opened on 12 May 1995. 2007 saw the addition of the "Hans Ulrich Auditorium". One year later, the "HSG Alumni House" with 54 guest rooms, financed by donations, was put into operation. Over the past 25 years, the Executive Campus has thus developed into an attractive campus for executive education.
