29 March 2017. Viktor is a man with average problems: he will shortly be fifty, has high blood pressure, five children, two ex-wives and a life partner who is not always as happy as he is about him just having landed a job as a festival director. And he has a secret passion for even more women.
Is there such a thing as a perfect, happy, honest relationship?
Fidelity, complicity and loyalty are issues in the novel entitled "Alles über Beziehungen". After all: what is fidelity? Is every kind of infidelity also deceit? And: is there such a thing at all as a perfect, happy, honest relationship at all? Doris Knecht’s narration about Viktor and women is fearless, sometimes frivolous but always entertaining – and incidentally, the writer reveals a great deal about how modern people love and about what happens when they stop loving.
