Discussion about the energy supply

25 October 2011. The Institute of European and International Business Law (EUR-HSG) is staging the 5th St.Gallen International Energy Forum (IEF) in the Chamber of the St.Gallen Cantonal Council on 10 and 11 November 2011. During the Forum, experts will speak about legal, political and economic challenges in the energy industry.

Public debate in the Kellerbühne St.Gallen

On Thursday, 10 November 2011, 6.30 p.m., there will be a public discussion in English. In the Kellerbühne St.Gallen, St.Georgenstrasse 3, Michael Rummer (General Counsel EnBW AG), Julia Friebel (General Counsel OMV) and Hansueli Sallenbach (General Counsel Axpo AG) will be speaking about “Panta rhei − the energy business in flux”. Dr. Ulrich Scholz (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer) will chair the debate and the subsequent discussion with the general public. The event, which takes place on the eve of the Forum, is open to the general public; admission is free.

International Energy Forum

The International Energy Forum was launched by HSG Professor Carl Baudenbacher, President of the EFTA Court, and Dr. Dirk Buschle, Legal Counsel of the Energy Community Secretariat. Professor Baudenbacher’s research activities cover Swiss, European and international business law.
