Cuba at the HSG

Spring will begin on 25 March 2010 at exactly 8.30 p.m: Jazz at the Uni, an initiative of the Student Union of the University of St.Gallen (HSG), will present the Cuban band Son de Luí that evening.

16 March 2010. The concert will be taking place in the A Restaurant of the University. Admission will be free; the doors will open at 8 p.m. Everyone who enjoys good music, Cuban rhythms and Latin American flair is cordially invited to the concert.

Music for Sons of Cuba
Luís Angulo was the vocalist, composer and guitarrist of the Quinteto Chá band, was already on stage with Eliades Ochoa of the Buena Vista Social Club and contributed his music to the film Sons of Cuba.

Make the snow melt
With his new project, Son de Luí, and the singer Carlos Arizala he will be visiting the University of St.Gallen (HSG) to make the last snow melt with his mixture of Cuban son, salsa rhythms, Mexican mariachi music and Spanish rumba.
