7 September 2009. The topics of the public lecture courses cover a wide variety of issues ranging from the red figures caused by the economic and financial crisis to nanotechnology, politics, music and literature.

Some lectures are specially aimed at a young public: besides classical music, pop music is now also a topic. As usual, the HSG will be going out into the region: it will visit the Cantonal School in Heerbrugg to deal with “The financial and economic crisis: diagnosis – therapy – prognosis”.
